We are pleased to be partnering a project with local charity Welcome To Our Future, which aims to develop rural infrastructure for electric vehicles and income streams for village halls. Many village dwellings do not have access to on or off-street parking but village halls are ideally suited to enable people to own an electric vehicle, having both space and electrical capacity for one or two charging points. They often have solar panels too, meaning the energy is less likely to be exported to the grid – better for village hall income and better for the grid!
